The Bloodstalker is a bizarre arthropod that may be most closely compared to a spider, but even that is not very accurate. It has 12 limbs in total. The six mantis-like arms are jointed and possess sharp spikes for grasping prey. The six jointless, squid-like legs are very long and tentacular, and are tipped with skin membrane that allows it slow its falling descent.
